How to Make Reports Inquiries in Sage X3

Sage X3 Report Inquiry

Inquiries into Business Partners (BPs), Transactions, Banks, and other modules of Sage X3 can be made in the Inquiries sub-module of the AP/AR module.

The following inquiry items are under the inquiry sub-module:

Customer Situation

Find out information about a customer’s payments.

In the BP:

  • Select the customer.
  • Click on the ‘Search’ button at the top of the page.
  • Transaction details about the customer will now be displayed on the page.

Supplier Situation

Find out information about a supplier’s receipts.

In the BP:

  • Select the supplier.
  • Click on the ‘Search’ button at the top of the page.
  • Transaction details about the supplier will now be displayed on the page.

Customer Aged Balance to Date

To view customer aged balance to date.

In the BP:

  • Select the customer.
  • Click on the ‘Search’ button at the top of the page.
  • The customer’s aged balance will now be displayed on the page.

Payments

View the status of all payments made at the Payment Entry.

  • Select the company and site.
  • Click on the ‘Search’ button at the top of the page.
  • All payments and details will now be displayed on the page.

Invoices

View all sales and purchase invoices and their payment or receipt details.

  • Select the company and site.
  • Click on the ‘Search’ button at the top of the page.
  • All invoices and details will now be displayed on the page.

Banks

View all bank transactions such as bank payments, bank receipts, and bank transfers.

In the Bank:

  • Select a bank or cash account to see transactions for only one account.
  • To view all bank and cash transactions, do not select a bank.
  • Click the ‘Search’ button at the top of the page.
  • The bank inquiry results will now be displayed at the top of the page.
